Daniel K. Taylor represents individuals and businesses in disputes ranging from simple breach of contract actions to complex multi-million dollar class action lawsuits. Dan has successfully litigated a wide variety of business disputes including breach of contract, commercial landlord tenant, class actions, construction defects, deceptive and unfair business practices, fraud, governmental investigations, non-compete/non-solicitation, tortious interference, and trade secrets. He has also acted as outside general counsel to a variety of businesses including closely held corporations, e-commerce retailers, a Florida based furniture retailer, and a national fitness chain.

Dan joined Sivyer Barlow Watson & Haughey, P.A. in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was a Partner at Englander Fischer in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Dan relocated to Florida in 2014 from Chicago where he practiced for 8 years as a founding partner of a civil and criminal litigation firm after starting his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney.
